It was amazing to have the windows open last night and to be able to listen to the wind through the trees! We have been blessed with quite a bit of rain, so the lake level is creeping up. It is still low, but better than where it was at the end of 2011.
The workshop is finished, although we still need to add electricity and plumbing. The mowers and 4-wheeler have been moved in, so it is functioning in some small measure. I thought I would be able to park my car inside one stormy night, but the ground in front of the garage doors was too soft and muddy...one more problem to try to solve!
Spring has snuck in and our temperatures today will approach 90 degrees before a cold front moves in tonight. The redbud next to our porch is putting on a show and daffodils will soon follow, even though they got beat up quite badly with the construction last year.
Porch sitting is a pretty pleasant thing to do right now!
